GRABO OTTOVAC
GRABO OTTOVAC is a sensor-controlled vacuum lifter designed specifically for glaziers, taking the guesswork out of vacuum lifting while helping protect glass from over-suction. Its precision sensor automatically stops the pump at optimal suction, preventing excessive pressure and reducing the risk of damaging the material. If vacuum pressure drops below the safe holding threshold of −55 kPa, the pump automatically re-engages to restore suction and maintain a solid hold throughout the job. Designed for smooth, non-porous glass and ceramic tile, the OTTOVAC can hold up to 330 lbs (150 kg) in both perpendicular and parallel positions, with an official Safe Working Load (SWL) of 230 lbs. Its compact 200 × 200 mm footprint and 2.6 lbs (1.2 kg) weight with battery make it lightweight and portable for handling large panels in tight installation areas.
The complete jobsite package includes the OTTOVAC lifter, a fitted carry case, and standard alkaline AA cells, so it is ready to use without a charger. Powered by four 1.5 V AA batteries, the unit operates at 6 V with a rated power of 6 W and supports 1,500 ON-OFF cycles of 10 seconds. Its pump delivers 4 L/min airflow and reaches a maximum vacuum rate of −0.7 bar (−70 kPa), with a service life of more than 10,000 cycles or 800+ hours. The OTTOVAC operates from 32°F–140°F (0°C–60°C) and features automatic over-suction prevention and pump re-engagement at −55 kPa for continuous vacuum control.
