Stonecrete Double PCD Round Cutters
Stonecrete Double PCD Round Cutters are heavy-duty, aggressive concrete surface preparation tools engineered for rapid scraping and removal of thick, stubborn surface coatings, elastomeric membranes, and high-build adhesives. Unlike conventional metal-bond diamond abrasives that generate high friction, heat up, and smear sticky materials across the slab, these cutters utilize dual ultra-hard polycrystalline diamond (PCD) teeth to mechanically slice, fracture, and peel coatings directly from the concrete surface. Paired with dual round sacrificial support segments, the tool regulates the scraping depth and stabilizes the cutting edge, preventing excessive gouging into the underlying concrete while shielding the PCD tips from impact damage caused by uneven joints and high aggregates.
Designed for high-production floor grinders and planetary preparation machinery, these cutters easily eliminate industrial epoxies, self-leveling overlays, urethanes, traffic paints, carpet and vinyl glues, black cutback mastics, acrylics, and cementitious thinsets. The base plate has three 9 mm mounting holes. Left Side and Right Side cutters are sold separately; confirm the required side and plate or adapter compatibility with the grinder manufacturer before installation.
