The Pelican PL-VT3322 Signature Series Sink is manufactured using heavy-duty 18 Gauge 304 Series stainless steel. 304 Series is surgical-grade stainless steel, which is nonporous, rust-free, and highly durable. Nonporous sinks are antibacterial and easy to clean as there are no pores for the dirt and germs to get trapped in. Our 304 Stainless Steel has a chromium-to-nickel ratio 18:10, making this sink one of the best available for residential and commercial installations. The elegant satin brushed finish creates an enduring luster and is designed to conceal minor scratches during normal usage. The underside of the sink has our unique Pelican Protect Coating applied, as well as sound-deadening pads. Both of these features help deaden sound attenuation and reduce the condensation buildup on the bottom of the sink that could lead to moisture problems at the base of the cabinet in which the sink is installed.
