The Pelican PL-VS2318 Stainless Steel Sink is manufactured using heavy-duty 16 or 18 Gauge 304 Series stainless steel. 304 Series is surgical-grade stainless steel, which is nonporous, rust-free, and highly durable. Nonporous sinks are antibacterial and easy to clean as there are no pores for the dirt and germs to get trapped in. Our 304 Stainless Steel has a chromium-to-nickel ratio 18:10, making this sink one of the best available for residential and commercial installations. The elegant satin brushed finish creates an enduring luster and is designed to conceal minor scratches during normal usage. The underside of the sink has our unique Pelican Protect Coating applied, as well as sound-deadening pads. This helps suppress sounds and prevents condensation from forming underneath.
