DeWalt Grinding Dust Shrouds are surface-grinding dust-collection accessories designed to capture harmful dust and improve jobsite cleanliness during concrete and other surface-grinding applications. Available in 5-inch and 7-inch wheel configurations, these shrouds connect directly to compatible DEWALT grinders and work with vacuum hoses to capture up to 99% of dust during surface grinding. The 5-inch version attaches to 115 and 125 mm DEWALT grinders using a keyless clamp and is compatible with grinders featuring a 44 mm guard holder, a maximum 125 mm wheel diameter, and a maximum rated speed of 11,500/min. Its sliding section provides access to corners and edge surfaces, while the universal connector allows the hose to swivel and helps prevent twisting. The 5-inch shroud is also AIRLOCK compatible for quick, locking vacuum-hose attachment.

The 7-inch version fits any DEWALT grinder and features a Perform and Protect dust collection design with a spring-loaded hinged door for open-area and flush-edge grinding. Its tool-free clamp system fits all DEWALT large angle grinders, while the universal connector locks onto the tool with a twist-and-click connection, eliminating the need for duct tape to secure the hose. Made from flexible yet durable material, the shroud lets users adjust grinder pressure while maintaining contact with concrete and resists abrasion from debris and demanding jobsite conditions. It helps reduce exposure to harmful silica dust and can improve productivity when paired with an efficient dust collection system or vacuum. The 7-inch model fits all DEWALT LAGs and is ideally suited for DWE4597 and DWE4557.
