K-Bond VIVID Knife Grade Adhesive

K-Bond Adhesives, Epoxies & Stone Color Pigments

K-Bond adhesives cover stone bonding, seams, laminating and repair work. Shop the complete K-Bond selection at USA Granite Tools, from ICON, VIVID and ELITE to polyester adhesives, QUICK SET epoxies, TRUE BOND and matching color pigments.

Compare the formula, consistency and intended use before choosing a package. Start with ICON Knife Grade, explore VIVID for low-color interior work, or browse the epoxy and color products below. Each product card leads to its available sizes, colors and ordering options.

Here you will find:

K-Bond Specialty Adhesives

Compare ICON, VIVID and ELITE in knife-grade and flowing versions. ICON uses a specialized polymer blend; VIVID is a vinyl ester adhesive; ELITE is an acrylic-blended system. Start with the material and the appearance of the finished joint, then choose the consistency for the application.

Knife-grade products hold their shape for controlled placement, while flowing grades suit work that calls for a more fluid adhesive. ACRYLIC Ultra Penetrating Adhesive is a separate, very low-viscosity option for fine cracks. Review the selected product’s directions, working time and permitted use location before choosing a package.

K-Bond Polyester & Poly-Epoxy Adhesives

Browse transparent, white and buff polyester adhesives for stone fabrication and repair. Compare knife-grade, paste and flowing consistencies, including the separately listed matte and gloss buff options. The transparent knife-grade adhesive and transparent flowing adhesive provide two ways to approach placement and coverage; pre-colored products offer another starting point when planning the finished appearance.

The second tab brings together the two Revolution polyester products and POLY-EPOXY Knife Grade. POLY-EPOXY combines polyester and epoxy resin technology and uses the specified BPO hardener. Check the formula and grade on the product page: it should not be treated as the same system as a two-part QUICK SET epoxy kit.

K-Bond Epoxies, Pigments & Hardener

Compare QUICK SET Knife Grade, QUICK SET Flowing and TRUE BOND for jobs that call for an epoxy system. QUICK SET is supplied as an A+B system with a 1:1 mix ratio; the TRUE BOND listing specifies 2:1 by volume. Confirm the package contents and directions for the exact product rather than transferring a mixing ratio between formulas.

Finish the selection with Standard Color Pigments, Granite Color Pigment or the BPO Cream Hardener Tube where the adhesive instructions call for it. Pigments adjust color; BPO is a curing component for compatible resin systems. Neither is a stand-alone stone adhesive, and BPO does not replace the Part B supplied for an epoxy kit.

K-Bond Adhesives — FAQs

Choose the consistency for the placement and the shape of the repair or joint. A knife-grade paste offers more control where the adhesive needs to stay in position. A flowing formula spreads into areas that require a more fluid material. Compare both the grade and the chemical family; products with a similar consistency can still have different material compatibility, working times and cure requirements.

No. ICON is a specialized polymer blend, VIVID is a vinyl ester adhesive, and ELITE is an acrylic-blended product. QUICK SET is a two-part epoxy system. These names identify different formulations, not simply different package sizes. Open the product you intend to use and check its technical information for the substrate, job conditions and required hardener.

Exterior suitability depends on the specific formula. The manufacturer lists QUICK SET Flowing for interior or exterior applications, while ICON Knife Grade and the VIVID Knife Grade product information identify interior use. Do not extend the rating of one adhesive to the whole brand. Check the selected product’s technical sheet for exposure, substrate and preparation requirements before using it outdoors.

Use BPO only with the resin systems whose instructions specify it. The cream hardener is listed for compatible polyester and acrylic products, and the POLY-EPOXY listing also calls for BPO. QUICK SET and TRUE BOND use their specified epoxy resin-and-hardener systems. Keep those components matched and follow the ratio on the selected product; a tube of BPO is not a substitute for epoxy Part B.

Standard Color Pigments provide individual color choices for tinting compatible stone adhesives. Granite Color Pigment offers premixed colors associated with selected granite patterns. Choose the pigment with the adhesive system and the actual stone sample in mind. Review the available color and package options on the product page, then make a small trial sample to assess the cured appearance.

This guide brings together all 23 products currently listed in our K-Bond brand and adhesive category, including Revolution polyesters, color pigments and BPO Cream Hardener. Product sizes and colors remain selectable on their individual pages. Open a product card to check the available options, current price and ordering details; the product page remains the place to select the exact item for your job.
