STI Lavina L30GS7 Propane Grinder is a professional planetary floor grinder engineered for high-production concrete grinding, polishing, and surface preparation. As part of the new Lavina S7 series, it combines a 30.8-inch working width with a completely redesigned, sealed, dust-proof grinding head that delivers longer service life and significantly reduced maintenance. The machine features a redesigned chain-driven planetary drive, a stronger timing belt, upgraded shafts and pulleys, and enhanced reliability for demanding jobsite conditions. Powered by either a 24 HP (17.9 kW) KOHLER® PCV740 747 cc engine or an optional 19 HP Kawasaki FX600V engine, it operates at 2,000–3,600 RPM while the three 13.2-inch tool holders rotate at 425–765 RPM, providing consistent, high-quality grinding performance.

Designed to improve productivity and operator comfort, the L30GS7 features a redesigned frame with improved head angle for faster tool changes, upgraded weights for better balance, a new ergonomic multi-position handle, and rubber bushings at the grinding head attachment points that reduce vibration during operation. Additional conveniences include a 5.2-gallon gravity-fed water tank with hose connection, a 20 lb propane tank, Camlock E300 vacuum hose port, water tank cap, and internal storage compartment. Weighing 926 lbs and measuring 86 × 32 × 46 inches, this Lavina S7 planetary grinder provides contractors with a durable, efficient, and easy-to-operate solution for commercial and industrial concrete flooring applications.
