STI Quick Change Bush Hammer is an aggressive surface-profiling tool designed to texture concrete, granite, and marble, creating a heavy CSP 4–5 (Concrete Surface Profile) for superior coating and overlay adhesion, or producing a decorative finish that mimics a flamed surface. Unlike standard diamond tooling, the Bush Hammer breaks down hard surfaces to create durable, slip-resistant textures, making it an ideal solution for anti-slip flooring and demanding surface preparation applications. Featuring a Quick Change attachment, it installs easily on Prep/Master® grinders for fast tool changes and maximum productivity.

Built for long-lasting performance, the STI Quick Change Bush Hammer offers an approximate service life of 15,000 sq. ft. (1,500 m²) when profiling surfaces for improved bonding or slip resistance. It is important to note that this tool is designed for profiling—not coating removal—and should not be used to remove flexible coatings or most epoxy systems. For optimum performance and tool life, STI recommends operating the Bush Hammer at no more than 700 RPM, making it ideal for Prep/Master® grinders but not for high-speed machines such as Lavina propane models.
