STI Perfect 2 Prep Tool is a metal-bond diamond preparation tool designed for dry concrete surface preparation with the EG attachment system, making it compatible with all Prep/Master (P/M) machines. Engineered to leave a smooth, consistent profile equivalent to approximately 80-grit sandpaper, it is ideal for preparing concrete floors before polishing or installing new flooring materials. The tool efficiently removes adhesives, thin-set mortar, epoxy coatings up to 4 mm (0.16″) thick, and corrects surface irregularities of up to ±4 mm.

Designed exclusively for dry operation, the STI Perfect 2 Prep Tool features a durable 3-inch-diameter, 8 mm-thick metal-bond construction with an approximate service life of 30,000 sq ft (3,000 m²). It is intended for use only on concrete surfaces and should not be used on terrazzo, marble, or granite. Available in Regular and Hard bond options, it delivers reliable performance across a variety of concrete preparation applications.
