AKEMI Darkener Plus Ink is designed to color extra-liquid products in the AKEPOX® 1000-series, particularly the AKEPOX® 1016 Micro Filler. It can be added to component A of AKEPOX® products (up to 5%) or to Darkener Plus (up to 30%) to intensify or change the stone’s color. The ink provides good color stability indoors and is easy to mix in, making it a versatile tool for achieving the desired hue.

Where To Use:
- To be used on fine ground and polished, absorbent natural and artificial stones such as marble, slate, solnhofen slabs, sandtone, granite, gneiss and concrete blocks
- Can be used inside and outside with lasting darkening effect
- Durable on silicate based stones and lime based stones
To get the best out of AKEMI Darkener Plus and Darkener Plus Ink:
- The surface must be clean, totally dry and free from all residues
- For Color adjustment Darkener Plus must be mixed with Akemi Darkener Ink
- Before starting it is necessary to prepare a sample area to evaluate efficiency and appearance of the Darkener Plus on the treated object
- Apply a thin smooth layer of the undiluted mix with a brush, paint roller or spraying device allowing sufficient time for the product to be absorbed by the stone
- Approx. 10 to 15 min after application, remove the excess of the product with an absorbent cloth
IMPORTANT: Akemi Darkener Ink must be mixed with Akemi Darkener Plus
