Alpha Filter/Regulator Manifold System
Alpha Filter/Regulator Manifold System is engineered to extend the life and performance of pneumatic tools by eliminating issues caused by rust or contamination in pipes and connectors. This system also minimizes pressure drops when handling high air volumes, allowing tools to operate consistently at 85 PSI while the main system runs at 125 PSI. Available in two sizes (53 CFM and 106 CFM), each unit includes a Filter/Regulator with shut-off/dump valve and an aluminum manifold with three or more quick disconnects. Designed for installation at the point of use, the Alpha Filter/Regulator Manifold System adapts seamlessly to existing shop piping, ensuring cleaner air delivery and maximum tool efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions
I have a ball valve installed at the point-of-use, so do I have to have a 3-port Relief Valve?
No, you do not. You can purchase just the Filter/Regulator with the adapter blocks and clamps, or custom build one using our inventory of manifold assembly parts.
Where can I get a replacement 5 micron filter element?
The spare parts list for the Filter/Regulator system is in the back of the manual. They are available from your Alpha® authorized dealer, Alpha Professional Tools® at 800-648-7229 ext. 240 (tool department parts help desk), or from our BUY Now tab on the website at www.alpha-tools.com.
My piping system is mounted close to the wall so it would be difficult to connect your Filter/Regulator or F/R Manifold System to my supply line. How can I attach them?
Alpha® offers 1/2” NPT Swivel Fitting Adapter Hoses in three different sizes (1ft, 2ft, and 3ft lengths) that can connect your supply line to our Filter/Regulator Manifold Systems without moving already secured piping. We also offer 15 ft to 40 ft 1/2” NPT Swivel Fitting Mobile Hoses that will allow you to move the Filter/Regulator Manifold System closer to the point of use.
Do you offer Automatic Oiler to lubricate tools?
No, we do not. Alpha® does not recommend using Automatic Oilers for our pneumatic tools. Automatic Oilers continuously feed oil to the tool that creates various issues. One could be the oil build up at the exhaust, and another could be the stain on the stone or other surfaces by the exhaust air with front exhaust system. Due to the volume of air passing through our pneumatic tool, they get very cold, so when the oil enters the cold tool it congeals and turns into a tar preventing the vanes from floating and can ultimately lock up the tool.
What is the recommendation from Alpha® for the lubrication of tools?
Alpha® recommends using a rust inhibitor oil for pneumatic tools daily at the end of each workday. Place 2-3 drops or more for larger tools of rust inhibitor oil directly into the oil port of the pneumatic tool. After adding the rust inhibitor oil, turn the air valve on slightly to allow a small stream of air, so that the rust inhibitor oil can atomize and coat the internal components of the tool in the form of a mist. If the process is done correctly, you should see a mist coming out of the exhaust end of the tool. Alpha® offers a Rust Inhibitor Oil for its pneumatic tools (Part No. AIR-008). Please note: the tool should be at room temperature to allow the rust inhibitor oil to flow and coat all the surfaces. When the tool is used again, most of the rust inhibitor oil will exit the tool through the exhaust port.
Can I use the lubrication oil from other companies?
If used properly, it will most likely work. However, some oils may not be compatible with our vanes, so Alpha® recommends using genuine Alpha® Rust Inhibitor Oil for all Alpha® tools (Part No. AIR-008).
What is the warranty on the Filter/Regulator Manifold System?
No, if you have compressor oil in you air supply it will clog the 5 micron filter and stop the air from passing through. You will need to have your compressor serviced to fix the problem.
My compressor has a max operating pressure of 165 PSI, can I use your Filter/Regulator?
Yes and No, The Alpha® Filter/Regulator has a max pressure rating of 145 PSI, so you will have to lower your compressors max operating pressure to 145 PSI or below.
