DiStar CoolPAD Polishing Pad
The DiStar CoolPAD Polishing Pad is a 4 in dry diamond pad engineered for grinding and finishing ceramic tile and porcelain gres. Its diamond-bearing layer maintains cutting speed while producing a clean surface near delicate glazed edges.
Fast, Clean Dry Polishing
The involute-shaped working profile removes grinding debris from the contact zone to reduce clogging and overheating. Four progressive levels cover aggressive material removal, edge refinement and final polishing without water.
Select the Correct CoolPAD Level
CoolPAD 0 provides the fastest grinding. CoolPAD 1 replaces grits 30, 60 and 120; CoolPAD 2 replaces 120, 200 and 400; CoolPAD 3 replaces 400, 800 and 1000.

Size and First Use
Every level measures 100 x 3 x 15 mm, approximately 4 in in diameter. Before first use, condition the working surface briefly on an abrasive material as directed by DISTAR.
Dry-Polishing Safety
Follow the tool and pad manufacturers’ instructions, use suitable dust control and wear eye, hearing and respiratory protection. Inspect the pad before use and never exceed the marked maximum RPM.
