Designed specifically for dry grinding of ceramic tile and porcelain gres on an angle grinder, it avoids the clogging, overheating, and power loss typical of tools built for wet granite grinding. Its advanced diamond-bearing composition delivers consistently high grinding speed and an exceptional surface finish, even when working close to delicate tile glaze, while the unique involute-shaped layer profile removes sludge from the grinding zone to prevent dulling and ensure smooth, chip-free results. Each CoolPAD replaces multiple traditional polishing pads—#1 replaces grit 30/60/120, #2 replaces grit 120/200/400, and #3 replaces grit 400/800/1000—meaning a single blade performs the work of three, boosting efficiency and reducing tool changes. Available in a 4″ diameter with three performance levels, DiStar CoolPAD 3 only needs brief conditioning on abrasive material before first use and is then ready to deliver clean, reliable, high-speed dry polishing.
