While the exterior remains familiar, this newly designed model features a complete internal overhaul, including a heavy-duty gear system with step-down transmission and a bevel and pinion gear that delivers a variable speed range of 700 to 2,500 RPM for superior control in edge polishing, profiling, and core drilling applications.
Precision-machined components reduce noise and vibration, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable operation. A specially coated spindle minimizes friction and extends the life of oil seals, while the ultra-flexible, kink-free 15 ft. water hose improves handling. The tool also features a 3 ft. EasyOn-EasyOff sleeve for better hose management and a built-in GFCI on the power cord for added safety. Exclusive Alpha® innovations like the adjustable splash guard and ventilation cap help keep water out of the motor housing, protecting the tool in wet environments.
