DiStar Hard Ceramics Diamond Blade for Wet Tile Cutting
The DiStar Hard Ceramics Diamond Blade is made for clean wet cutting of porcelain gres, ceramic tile and glazed surfaces. Its continuous rim supports smooth edges on decorative tile, while the broad 4.5 to 16-inch size range fits compact tile saws through larger wet-cutting machines.
Performance and Applications
DISTAR rates the Hard Ceramics family at cutting speeds up to 1.1 m/min (3.6 ft/min) and blade life up to 1,000 linear m (3,280 ft) under its test conditions. Actual results depend on the tile, saw, water flow, feed rate and operator technique. This blade is intended for wet cutting only.
Choose the Correct Diameter and Arbor
The 4.5 and 5-inch blades use a 22.23 mm (7/8 in) arbor. The 6 through 16-inch SKUs listed here use a 25.4 mm (1 in) arbor. Verify the blade diameter, arbor, guard capacity and saw RPM before ordering.

Wet-Cutting Safety
Use continuous water cooling and follow the saw and blade manufacturers’ instructions. Wear the required eye, hearing and respiratory protection, inspect the blade before use and never exceed the marked maximum RPM.
