U.S. Saws Tuc-Pointer Assembly
U.S. Saws Tuc-Pointer Assembly is a small, lightweight handheld tuckpointer/crack chaser system designed to rout out random cracks before filling, cut concrete repair patches, clean out joints, and remove mortar or grout joints in areas where larger joint cleanout saws will not fit. It can cut horizontally or vertically and provides up to 1-1/4″ of cutting depth. The Premium model is powered by a Metabo WEV15-125 13.5 Amp variable-speed grinder operating from 2,800 to 9,600 RPM, and can use 4″, 4.5″, or 5″ dry diamond blades, including “V” blades. The assembly includes the grinder, polycarbonate dust collection shroud, and adapter ring.
The full metal blade guard helps protect the operator, while the highly abrasion-resistant polycarbonate dust shroud is designed to withstand abrasive concrete dust and carries a 5-year warranty. The shroud helps provide dust control for a cleaner worksite when used with an optional vacuum system, and the assembly meets OSHA dust collection requirements when used with an approved dust collector. The system is also suitable for heavy-duty, continuous use and repair applications that require dust control.
