The thermal leak detector uses an infrared sensor to find water intrusion along walls, molding, ductwork, etc. The infrared thermometer features differential alarms (color and audible). The auto color change and audible features provide quick, intuitive feedback. The T16-200 is a step up from traditional IR thermometers for restoration technicians.

- GREEN with no audible alarm indicates readings within the set temperature range
- BLUE with a slower audible alarm is below the set temperature range. This can indicate areas of concern for condensation or secondary damage.
- RED with a faster audible alarm, is above the set temperature range. This can indicate areas where energy is being transferred into materials.
