Alpha ESC-125/ESC-225 Electric Wet/Dry Stone Cutter
Alpha ESC-125/ESC-225 Electric Wet/Dry Stone Cutter is the next generation in precision cutting for the stone fabrication industry. Engineered as an upgrade to the trusted AWS-125, this tool was developed with direct input from fabricators and in response to OSHA’s updated silica regulations. Whether working wet or dry, the ESC-125 delivers high-performance results while ensuring a safer, cleaner work environment.
When used dry, the built-in Dust Cover redirects debris directly into an attached HEPA vacuum, drastically reducing airborne particles. For wet cutting, Alpha® has integrated a newly designed Aluminum Manifold System that delivers a targeted water jet to cool the blade and clear slurry, maximizing efficiency and blade life. The enhanced Hybrid Kink/Memory-Free Water Hose with a quick disconnect garden hose adapter guarantees steady water flow with zero interruption.
For superior control, the EasyOn-EasyOff Sleeve allows users to neatly bundle the power cord and hose, minimizing drag during long cuts. Cutting depth adjustment is now easier and more stable, thanks to the repositioned Clamping Lever on the blade guard.
Powered by a robust motor, the Alpha ESC-125 handles 3cm thick granite, quartz, marble, limestone, sintered slabs, and more—all on a standard 110V/15 amp circuit. Whether you’re doing delicate groove cuts or heavy-duty countertop work, this tool brings unmatched precision and durability to every job.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ideal material I can cut using the ESC-125 Wet/Dry Stone Cutter?
The Alpha® ESC-125 Wet/Dry Stone Cutter is ideal for those working with granite, quartz surfaces, marble, limestone, concrete and sintered slabs.
Should I use the TT Ruler Guide up or down?
It depends on your application. If you are using the edge of the slab to cut straight, you need the TT Ruler Guide facing down. If you are cutting along with the straight edge on the slab, you need the TT Ruler Guide facing up.
What is the warranty on the ESC-125?
One year warranty (See manual for details)
How can I get the parts list and schematic for the ESC-125?
Visit website at www.alpha-tools.com or call at 800-648-7229.
Can I use an old Universal Carriage System (AWS-UCAM)?
No you cannot use the old Universal Carriage System due to the design improvements. We are in the process of making a new Carriage Assembly for the ESC-125.
What kind of vacuum cleaner shall I use with ESC-125?
You need to use HEPA Vacuum according to OSHA’s Table 1. Please see link below for details. https://www.osha.gov/pls/oshaweb/owadisp.show_document?p_table=STANDARDS&p_id=1270
When I use as a dry cutting application, dust breaches from the bottom of the stone. How can I prevent dust issue?
When a diamond blade cuts through the stone, dust will be kicked out of the bottom of the slab before it comes up to the surface of slab. You can put a substrate such as another stone slab or Styrofoam sheet to capture the edge of diamond blade so that dust would be kicked up toward the point of a dust suction.
