Alpha Pool Coping Kit
Alpha Pool Coping Kit delivers a complete solution for coping applications on 5cm (2”) thickness materials. For added versatility, Alpha® also offers an optional 6cm (2-3/8”) Profiler V, designed to create a uniform bullnose edge effortlessly when paired with the VDP-700 variable speed rotary polisher and the wet sanding/polishing kit (WSPKIT). With most paving materials featuring a honed surface, the included #80 Sandpaper ensures a matching finish on profiled edges.
This kit also comes with practical accessories such as a waterproof apron and GFCI, ensuring safe and comfortable operation. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Alpha® Pool Coping Kit on hard stone such as granite pavers?
Yes you can. Due to the hardness of granite pavers, #80 sandpaper may not be the most suitable sanding media. Alpha® also offers various Ceramica flexible diamond polishing discs to expedite the process.

What is the recommended RPM for profiling and sanding?
You can use entire speed range of VDP-700 for both profiling and sanding application.
Can I use Alpha® Pool Coping Kit as a dry application?
No. If you use Alpha Profiler dry, it will build up heat and would destroy the nylon guide. Also, since we currently do not offer a dust shroud to collect dust, it will not be compliant with OSHA silica rules. Travertine surface has been filled with resin but the when I created the bullnose profile on the edge, pores open up on entire edge. What can I do after profiling application?
Travertine Filler is widely available from your hardscape suppliers that must be applied to desired profiled edge prior to sanding process. After filler dry completely, you can continue sanding with #80 sandpaper to complete coping process.
