What is the spindle size required for use of the BAH-5/8 adapter?
Your power tool needs to have a 5/8”-11 threaded spindle for use with this adapter.
Can I use the Alpha® Vortex for Marble blade without the BAH adapter?
No. The Alpha® Vortex for Marble blades must always be used together with the BAH adapter. Alpha® does not recommend mounting the Vortex for Marble blade directly onto the flange of a power tool without the BAH adapter due to the counter sunk holes drilled within the core of the blade.
Does Alpha® offer other spindle sizes for the BAH and FAH adapters?
Yes. Other spindle sizes are available. Please contact your dealer or Alpha® directly to learn more about these other thread sizes.
Can I use the Alpha® Vortex for Marble blade on my polishing tool?
No. The RPM speed of polishers is too slow. Diamond blades are recommended to be used on high-speed angle grinders rated for your blade diameter..
