Mechanic Click-Lock PRO 4 in Fixing Plate

The Mechanic Click-Lock PRO Fixing Plate is a 4 in (100 mm) steel-backed pad holder for the Click-Lock PRO magnetic polishing system. A polishing pad stays attached to the holder while the numbered plate locks onto and releases from the magnetic base, allowing fast pad changes without peeling the pad off its holder.

What the Numbers 1, 2 and 3 Mean

Plates 1, 2 and 3 have the same size, construction and function. The red printed number is only an identification mark. Mount a different polishing pad or grit on each numbered plate; when a plate is removed from the magnetic base, the number lets the operator immediately recognize which pad or polishing step is in hand.

The number does not indicate grit, rigidity, flexibility, quality or performance. Follow the grit sequence recommended for the polishing-pad system and use the number simply to keep that sequence organized.
