Tenax Proseal impregnating sealer is rated by fabricators as one of the best granite, marble, stone sealers to be used on natural stone. No other sealers will penetrate and protect as well as Proseal. What about the 15-year sealers? Or sealers that come with a warranty? Are they better than Proseal?

Logic would think so. But the reality is they do not! It outperforms these sealers over and over again. In every instance that Proseal Granite and Marble Sealer has been tested directly against these sealers, the Proseal is the one that does not leave the stain. Don’t just take the Tenax word. Look at the below video from an independent company made to compare Proseal against Dry-Treat, Stone Tech, and Miracle Sealants 511. All of these sealers are very well known and 2 of them offer warranties. What was the result? ONLY Proseal did not leave the stain.

Why doesn’t Tenax offer a warranty with Proseal Ultra Premium Stone Sealer if it is better than the warranty stone sealers on the market?

1. Read the fine print of the sealers and you will see exactly what is covered, all the hoops a fabricator has to jump through to even attempt to get a warranty (one even asks to send them a piece of the countertop to them so they can determine it was their sealer), only to find that the warranty companies will send you a free bottle of sealer.
2. Tenax would much rather offer the best sealer that chemists can make at a very affordable price, have a fabricator seal the granite, marble, stone countertop, and allow the homeowner to not worry about stains. Tenax prefers the old keep it simple method.
3. Tenax Proseal is suitable to protect granite against practically all potential kitchen stain-causing items: coffee, wine, oil, peanut butter, mustard, ketchup, soda, etc.
4. Proseal impregnating sealer also works well with polished, honed, brushed, matte, finishes.
5. What about high porosity materials such as marble, travertine, limestone? It fills the pores and seals these very porous stones and protects the stone from oil and water stains better than any other Porous stone sealer.
6. Can Proseal be used for sealing grout?
7. Absolutely! After using Proseal for sealing grout, test it by putting any liquid on the grout. it will bead up like you just waxed your car!

10. Wait 24 hours to allow the stone to dry and reach 100% protection.
11. The protection will last up to 4-5 years if the product is applied correctly on the surface and in areas that are not under direct wear and use.

Directions

This product must be evenly applied on a completely clean and dry surface. Spread it evenly with a brush, sponge, cloth, or spray gun until the surface no longer absorbs the product. After a few seconds buff with a clean cloth. Any excess of  Proseal creates superficial glossy and sticky films so any excess must be removed immediately after the application. Repeat after 10-15 minutes. Do not walk on the floor for 24 hours.

Important

When using it for the first time we suggest testing on a small hidden area first. One liter of Proseal treats approximately 215-323 sq. ft depending on the porosity of the stone.

Application Temperature

The suggested application temperature for ProSeal is 50°-95°F. The ideal temperature for application is 68°-77°F. Above 95°F will pose a problem due to increased evaporation.

Shelf Life

This product will last at least 1 year if kept between 65° and 77°. Keep away from heat, humidity, and sunlight.
