Achilli TOP Manual Working Center
Achilli TOP Manual Working Center is an all-in-one multipurpose workstation that consolidates essential stone countertop fabrication operations into a single machine, eliminating the need to move slabs between processes. It handles sink cut-outs, internal and external contour shaping, edge profiling and polishing, faucet and fixture drilling, recess drain fabrication, and straight edge polishing. Designed for small and mid-size fabrication shops, the TOP combines CNC-level versatility with the simplicity of manual operation. Its spindle moves manually along the Y and Z axes through micrometric hand wheels for precise, repeatable results without CNC programming, while the head travels on stainless steel guides and wheels with adjustable mechanical limit switches for smooth, controlled positioning. A single-phase 230V power supply eliminates the need for three-phase electrical infrastructure.
Built for demanding wet fabrication environments, the Achilli TOP features a rigid galvanized steel frame and worktop for long-term durability and corrosion resistance. It accepts shaped profile wheels up to 4″ high and 4.75″ in diameter, as well as CNC tools for manual routers, allowing compatibility with tooling already used in many shops. Optional accessories include the Quick Drill for rapid Z-axis plunge movement, the Disc Holder for four-position head rotation and diamond blades up to 8″, the Modular Template System for straight, curved, and oval sink cut-outs, the Piece Holder for slab lifting and positioning, and a larger version with extended X and Y travel. The machine is suitable for granite, marble, quartz, engineered stone, quartzite, and natural stone countertop slabs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What operations can the TOP perform?
Sink cut-outs, internal and external contour shaping, edge profiling and polishing, drilling, and recess drain fabrication — all on one machine without repositioning the slab.
Does it require 3-phase power?
No. The TOP runs on 230V single-phase, 50/60 Hz — no 3-phase electrical infrastructure required.
How precise is the manual control?
Y and Z axis spindle movement is controlled with micrometric hand wheels, providing repeatable precision for consistent edge profiles and cut-outs without CNC programming.
What tooling is it compatible with?
Shaped profile wheels (up to 100 mm height, 120 mm diameter), CNC tools for manual routers, core drill bits up to 80 mm, and polishing pads up to 115 mm diameter.
Can it cut as well as shape and polish?
Yes, with the optional Disc Holder accessory — it rotates the head in four positions and mounts diamond blades up to 200 mm (8") for cutting and mitering along the X and Y axes.
Is it suitable for a small shop?
Yes. The TOP is specifically designed for small and growing fabrication shops that want to reduce production time and equipment investment by consolidating multiple operations into one machine.
